Theater
Soren's original and longest running passion has most assuredly been theater. As an undergraduate Theater major, this passion carried him to Scotland where he studied Shakespearean Adaptions and Performing Character, all-the-while portraying the famous Macbeth in a Glasgow University Shakespeare Society production. His love of Shakespeare permeates not only his writing and understanding of language, but thrives in his craft and performance, regardless of the playwright.
His time studying Lecoq and Clowning also awakened a long dormant love for physical acting, allowing him to play incredibly difficult and transformative roles in The Terrifying, and DNA which both required a physicality that bordered on monstrous, and helped win him the Julius Novick Award for Outstanding Theater and Performance Senior.
Soren's hunger for the stage grows ever greater and his need to feel the footlights on his face and smell the old musk of ancient theaters plagues him every day he fails to indulge it.
